    I met mike thru his brother, dave back in ”79”, ”80” when I used to sleep over his house as kids. We later met thru our travels after high school and we worked together before his business got off the ground and he thought highly enough of my work to ask me to work on his first bought home. Mike always treated me with the utmost respect when others may have not always shown the same. He never ever followed the crowd when this occurred and it made me feel a matter a fact, he used to ask me, ” is any 1 messing w/u ?.( from time 2 time). I never got the chance to tell him wat it meant to me. so i’m saying it now. ” love you mike swick! and thank you ! ” see you in heaven!!

    I met Mike growing up but “Zwicker” ended up being one of my “neighbors” through the woods. 🙂 I will miss hearing those loud pipes come and go. Especially because I always knew when it was him. There is a poem Mary Elizabeth Frye that see fitting for a guy like Mike. He would want us to laugh and remember him and celebrate his life. The poem may be a bit corny for his style but here it is anyway. 

    Do not stand at my grave and weep
    I am not there. I do not sleep.
    I am a thousand winds that blow.
    I am the diamond glints on snow.
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
    I am the gentle autumn rain.
    When you awaken in the morning’s hush
    I am the swift uplifting rush
    Of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft stars that shine at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry;
    I am not there. I did not die.

    My heart and condolences go out to Lisa and all of Mike’s family.
